UL Lafayette ITE Team Wins Deep South Traffic Bowl
Wed, 03/12/2025 - 11:58amThe University of Louisiana at Lafayette Department of Civil Engineering ITE student chapter secured a commanding win at the Deep South ITE Traffic Bowl Competition during the Deep South Section Institute of Transportation Engineers (DSITE) Winter Meeting, held February 20–21, 2025, in Hattiesburg, MS. Competing against Louisiana State University (LSU) in the Jeopardy-style contest, the UL Lafayette team emerged victorious by a 700-point margin, earning the opportunity to represent Louisiana at the Southern District Traffic Bowl at the ITE Southern District Annual Meeting, scheduled for April 13–16, 2025, in Memphis, TN. This marks the second consecutive year that UL Lafayette has met LSU in the Traffic Bowl and emerged victorious. The strength of our program and the dedication of our students to academic and professional excellence has helped us to realize this success with many more to come!
